It was another very successful fall season for Warsaw Athletics. The girls golf team is always the first team to start competition, and under new coach Kelsey Eichenauer the girls finished 11-2 in dual match play, finished second in the conference, won their second consecutive sectional title and finished 6th in the regional with a freshman-dominated lineup card. The boys tennis squad went 12-6 this fall and finished 3rd in the NLC. Ted Grandon won the conference meet in #3 Singles and Henry Norton was runner-up at #2 Singles. The Tigers won three matches on their home court to claim the sectional title. Warsaw put a very young and inexperienced team on the floor to start their season, and they grew up very quickly. The Lady Tigers won 29 matches, claimed their fourth straight NLC championship and have now won 29 conference matches in a row, and won a fourth straight sectional. Ellie Hepler graduates with over 2,000 digs in her career and heads to IU to play for the Hoosiers next fall. The girls soccer team, under new coach Zach Harding, went 8-6-2 on their season. Two of their six losses came to Northridge who knocked Warsaw out postseason play in the sectional final. The boys soccer team won 10 games in the fall of 2025, including a season-ending thrilling win over Northridge 1-0 in Middlebury. Warsaw made it to the semis of the sectional but lost to Homestead while playing their second match in as many days. The girls cross country team was projected to have a terrific season, and they did exactly that. Warsaw won both conference round robin meets and the NLC meet at Ox Bow Park. They claimed a 2nd place finish at the Manchester Sectional before running to 4th at the regional at Huntington University and 15th at the state finals in Terre Haute. Sammi Rastrelli finished 29th individually. The boys cross country team featured a lot of new faces at the start of the fall, but improved along the way and finished 4th overall in the Northern Lakes Conference. The JV squad won the NLC conference title race. The Tigers won their 15th straight boys cross country sectional and finished 11th at the regional at Huntington. Jackson Gackenheimer put on a tremendous show in the finale of his Tiger racing career, finishing 2nd in the NLC meet, winning the sectional and regional and claiming 7th at the state meet. Jackson also now owns the school record for boys cross country, covering the distance in a time of 14:59 at the Marion Invitational. The varsity football team finished 6-4 on the season and 3rd in the NLC with a 5-2 mark. Warsaw lost twice to Concord, who won their regional, and once to Warren Central, who also won their regional. With only 14 seniors, the Tigers still put together an excellent season. The Unified flag football team finished 5-5 on their season but made a lot of memories and were good representatives of their school and community.
