Girls Basketball Blows Out Riley, Goes to 5-0

The Lady Tiger Basketball teams cruised to easy victories in the Tiger Den Tuesday night. The varsity defeated South Bend Riley 67-10, jumping out to a 24-4 lead after the 1st quarter and never looking back. It was the third fewest points ever allowed in a game by a Lady Tiger team. Joslyn Bricker led the scoring with 22 and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Brooke Zartman added 17. Cayleigh Goheen scored a career high 7 points. The junior varsity won 66-6 over Riley, scoring the first 43 points of the game. Dani Rastrelli scored 23 points and had 12 steals, while Charlotte Kelser scored 17 points and had 10 steals. The varsity is 5-0, the JV is 4-1 and both teams head to Brownsburg Saturday for the SNKRS 4 Santa event to play Jennings County.
