Lady Tigers Suffer First Loss of Season, Lose to Jennings County at Brownsburg

The Lady Tiger basketball lost for the first time this season in a 64-59 loss to 3A #7 Jennings County Saturday at the Snkrs 4 Santa Shootout in Brownsburg. The game was part of a day-long effort to collect tennis shoes for needy kids in Central Indiana. Warsaw held the lead for the middle two quarters, but the Lady Panthers outscored Warsaw in the fourth quarter 19-10. Warsaw was just 2-15 from the field in the final eight minutes. Brooke Zartman led the Lady Tigers with 24 points, including 6 3-pointers. Joslyn Bricker added 20. But the Lady Tigers shot just 30% from the field for the game, and fall to 5-1 on the young season. Warsaw's junior varsity also played Jennings County in the Shootout, and they won their 5th in a row by a score of 56-19. Dani Rastrelli and Charlotte Kesler each scored 12 points, and Josie Lovette added 11.
