The Lady Tiger Wrestling team placed 4th at the Plymouth Sectional Saturday at Lincoln Middle School. 6 of 10 Lady Tiger wrestlers advanced to next week's Regionals at Plymouth High School. Mariana Castro entered the tournament as the number 1 seed and pinned her way through to 1st place. Emma Dewald and Kynna Yoder entered the tournament as second seeds and wrestled tough all day both only losing one match. Yoder placed 2nd and DeWald placed 3rd. Audrianna Gonzalez entered the tournament as the third seed and had a key win by pin to put her in the finals. Gonzalez placed 2nd overall. Freshmen Mariana Morgan and Mya Williamson wrestled tough all day getting in some key wins to push them through to next week! Morgan placed 3rd and Williamson placed 4th overall. Claris Avila and Marely Gutierrez placed 5th and will be alternates for the regional round. Mayra Gonzalez-Vera placed 6th for the Tigers!
