Boys Basketball Comes Up Short at Harrison

The Tigers fought back from a 10-point 2nd quarter deficit but couldn't overcome West Lafayette Harrison Friday night in a 52-44 loss. Warsaw trailed 26-16 with 3:39 left in the 2nd quarter, but held the Raiders scoreless for the rest of the half and ran into the locker room down 26-20 at halftime. The Tigers were within 4 points on two different occasions in the the 4th quarter, but couldn't get any closer in the game's final minutes. Mydin Burgher led Warsaw in scoring for the 18th time in 22 games with 22 points. The junior varsity also lost at Harrison 50-37. Landon Kralis scored 20 in the loss. The varsity is 11-11 and the JV is 8-11. The boys finish the regular season Tuesday at Tippecanoe Valley.
