The Tiger boys basketball team finished the first half strong and pulled way for a 67-40 win at Tippecanoe Valley Tuesday. Warsaw ends the regular season 12-11 with a sectional semifinal date with Elkhart on March 6 looming. Mydin Burgher score 15, including 9 in a 19-point Tiger first quarter. Drew Jones also scored 15, which is a new career-high for him. Sam McDaniels and Sam Lara each scored 9. The Tigers led by 9 with 3:59 left in the 2nd quarter, then 11-4 run to push the lead to 16 at the break. Warsaw outscored Valley in the 2nd half 30-19 to put the game out of reach. The junior varsity ended their season on a high note with a 65-26 win at Valley. Landon Kralis led the JV with 17 points, finishing with 54 points in the last three games of the JV season. They end the year 9-11.
