The final dive of Ian Parrott's high school career is one he will never forget. None of the rest of us will either. In second place and needing to nail his final dive, the senior did exactly that to post a final score of 556.50 and win the IHSAA State 1M Diving Championship. Parrott posted a prelim score of 258.4, which put him in the top spot. He was in second place heading into the final round with a score of 383.00--9 points behind the leader. Parrott turned that deficit into a 17 point win. Parrott also was named the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award Winner for Boys Swimming. Tiger Tyler Kretsch also had a great state finals, finishing 15th with a final score of 360.65. Warsaw finished with a team score of 22, which put them 24th for the state finals.
