The Warsaw Tigers Men’s Volleyball team battled through a hard-fought five-set match on the road at Homestead, ultimately falling 25-14, 20-25, 25-18, 10-25, 11-15. Offensively, Warsaw was led by Logan Carl with 9 kills, while Ben Harlan added 6. Cadyn Greer contributed 4 kills and Levi Brath chipped in 3, as the Tigers continued to spread the attack and create opportunities across the front row. The setting duo of Patryck Bocianski and Mac Tucker kept the offense moving, each recording 11 assists, with Bocianski also adding 2 service aces and Tucker contributing one of his own. Defensively, the Tigers were especially impressive. Carl anchored the back row with 14 digs and added 5 blocks at the net. Bocianski and Sam Bowers each recorded 10 digs, while Harlan added 9 and Tucker finished with 7, highlighting a strong team effort in serve receive and defensive coverage. At the net, Warsaw made its presence felt, with Brath and Greer combining for 15 blocks and Nolan Haussmann adding 5 more, showing the team’s ability to disrupt opponents and control play at the net. The JV squad came out of spring break a bit slow, dropping their match in two sets (13-25, 18-25). Barrett Hodorek led the team with 4 assists, while Mason Silveus recorded 3 kills. While the match didn’t go their way, the Tigers continue to show growth, depth, and defensive toughness. With a 3-3 varsity record and JV at 4-2, Warsaw looks to build on these positives and bring strong energy into their next matchup at home Wednesday against Elkhart.
