The Warsaw Tigers delivered a strong all-around performance Thursday night, sweeping Kokomo in straight sets, 25-22, 25-12, 25-20. With the win, the Tigers improve to 5-3 on the season heading into the weekend. After a competitive opening set, Warsaw found its rhythm and controlled the tempo of the match behind consistent serving, solid defense, and balanced offensive production. The Tigers pulled away decisively in the second set and maintained control through the third to secure the sweep. Leading the offensive charge was Logan Carl, who tallied 14 kills along with 4 digs and an ace. Ben Harlan and Levi Brath each contributed 8 kills, with Harlan adding 2 blocks and an ace, while Brath chipped in a block and 2 digs. Cadyan Greer made a strong impact at the net with 5 kills and 4 blocks, while also adding 3 digs. Running the offense efficiently was setter Mac Tucker, who dished out 20 assists and added 7 digs. Defensively, the Tigers were anchored by Nolan Haussmann with 7 digs and 2 aces, while Silas Hill contributed 7 digs and 14 service receptions. Sam Bowers added 5 digs and 7 service receptions to round out a solid back-row effort. Warsaw will look to build on this momentum after a weekend of rest before returning to action next Tuesday at home against Bishop Dwenger.
