Warsaw Sports Information Director and “radio voice of Warsaw Tiger sports” Roger Grossman was inducted into the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Hall of Fame Sunday. Grossman started as the color commentator for Tiger football broadcasts in 1991, and assumed the role of play-by-play announcer in the fall of 2002. He started broadcasting the Lady Tiger basketball games in November of 1991, and has been calling girls games every year since 1995. Roger has been broadcasting the Tiger boys basketball games and hosting the Saturday morning show “Tiger Talk” since November of 2002. In his 35 years at WRSW, he’s broadcasted over 3,000 games including football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball and softball.
