The Warsaw baseball team pounded out 16 hits and drew 11 walks to win 21-5 at Wawasee Wednesday. The Tigers scored at least three runs in all five innings while upping their overall record to 5-9. The 2, 3, 4 batters in the Warsaw order (Grady Nelson, Quinton Brock and Jack Bradford) combined to go 8-9 at the plate with 12 runs scored and 8 runs batted in. Nelson homered and Brock tripled. Not to be outdone, Kael Miller went 4-4 at the plate with 7 runs batted in and Spencer Love was 2-3 and scored twice. Andrew Shaw got the varsity start and went 3 innings, allowing 3 runs and 3 hits. Alex Hoover pitched the final 2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 3 hits. The junior varsity also beat Wawasee 15-1. Tonight's final box scores for both games are attached.
