Coach Stan Gideon will arrive in Warsaw on Monday and will begin connecting with players, families, and the Warsaw baseball community. He will meet with parents and guardians Monday evening at 5:45 p.m. at the baseball stands. As part of his transition into the program, Gideon will lead several fall baseball practice sessions throughout September and October. The current fall schedule includes: August 31–September 2: Monday–Wednesday September 9–11: Wednesday–Friday The team will attend a Warsaw football game and Gideon will be formally recognized at halftime. September 14–15: Monday–Tuesday October 5–7: Monday–Wednesday October 12–14: Monday–Wednesday Gideon will return to Warsaw in December or January to continue working with the program during winter in limited-contact practices. Beginning with the second semester, he will also serve as a full-time substitute teacher at Warsaw Community High School, allowing him to become an active member of the school community while continuing to build the foundation of the Warsaw baseball program.
