The Warsaw Tigers JV squad rolled past Northrop 26-12 Monday behind a explosive first-half surge and big plays from Clayton Dias and Keagan Patrick. Dias opened the scoring with a 72-yard touchdown run, and Carson Hollon added the two-point conversion to put Warsaw ahead 8-0. After Bryson Ellerson recovered an onside kick, Patrick connected with CJ Hutton on a 42-yard touchdown pass, extending the lead to 14-0. Brandon Wolfe recovered another onside kick, setting up Ellerson’s 2-yard touchdown run that made it 20-0. Northrop managed a late first-half score to trail 20-6 at the break. In the third quarter, Patrick found Dias again for a 35-yard touchdown pass with 50 seconds left, pushing the advantage to 26-6. Northrop added a late touchdown, but the Tigers closed out the 26-12 victory. Warsaw controlled the game with big-play offense and opportunistic special teams, improving their early-season form. Tigers are 2-0 on the season and will begin conference play next Saturday against Northwood Panthers at Fisher Field. Kickoff is 10 AM
