Michael Schenck's 2-yard run with :27 left lifted Warsaw to a 27-22 win at NorthWood Friday in Nappanee. Warsaw is 1-0 in NLC play and 3-0 overall, and the combined margin of victory in the three wins is just 9 points. Tucker Reed scored 3 touchdowns on his first 3 runs of the first quarter as the Tigers built a 21-7 lead. The Tigers were marching toward building on that lead before committing the first of four turnovers at the Panther 19 yard line. NorthWood scored after that lost fumble to get to within 21-14 at halftime. The score stayed that way until NorthWood found the endzone with 3:54 left in the game and then converted a 2-point conversion run to take their first lead of the night. But Warsaw went 80 yards for Schenck's winning score thanks to a 26-yard run by QB Brady Sauer and a 30-yard run by Tucker Reed. Jack Bradford's second interception of the game with :16 remaining secured the win.
