The Lady Tiger soccer team lost a heartbreaker Tuesday, falling to Carroll 3-2 at the Tiger Soccer Complex. With the game tied 1-1, a penalty kick was awarded to the Chargers with just over 10 minutes remaining, and the try was successful to put Carroll up a goal. But with 3:44 left, Carroll committed a handball in the box at the other end, and the Lady Tigers were given a chance to equalize. Amy Escutia buried the penalty in the bottom right corner of the net to tie things up at 2-2. It looked like it might end a tie, but in the game's final minute, the Chargers found space on their left wing, and a cross to the middle was redirected into the Lady Tiger net with :42 left for the game winning goal. Warsaw will shift their focus to Thursday night's match at Northridge, which will determine the Northern Lakes Conference champion.
