Boys Volleyball Wins on the Road Again

The Warsaw Tigers picked up a dominant 3-0 victory over the Elkhart Lions on Thursday night at Elkhart High School. The Tigers controlled the match with set scores of 25-13, 26-24, and 25-23, improving their record to 2-1 in the early season. Warsaw’s offensive attack was led by Miles Rager, who recorded a match-high 12 kills, while Fin Bailey added 7. Logan Carl and Ricky Anacleto contributed 3 kills each. Andy Vass orchestrated the offense with 26 assists, keeping the Tigers’ attack efficient and balanced. Defensively, Deneil Ruzza anchored the back row with an impressive 28 digs. Fin Bailey and Miles Rager added 14 and 12 digs, respectively, ensuring solid coverage against Elkhart’s attack. At the net, Rager and Carl were key defensive presences, each tallying 4 blocks. Following the win, Tigers head coach Fleming expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance. "It was good to get back on the winning path," Fleming said. "Now, we shift our focus to Monday’s matchup against South Bend Riley." The Tigers will return home to the Tiger Den for their next match against South Bend Riley on Monday at 6:30 PM.
