Late Score Costs Varsity Baseball at Huntington North

A run in the bottom of the 6th inning lifted Huntington North to a 4-3 win over the Tiger varsity baseball team Thursday night. The winning run came home a half inning after the Tigers had tied the game at 3-3 on an RBI single by Quinton Brock single down the left field line. Brock was 3 for 3 at the plate and drove in 2 runs. Kellan Bailey started the game on the mound and allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 4 innings. Reed Nelson pitched the final 2 frames and gave up a run on 3 hits. The junior varsity played to a 2-2 tie against Huntington North. The game ended after 10 innings due to darkness.
