Tiger Varsity Baseball Shuts Out Wawasee

Warsaw Varsity Tigers took down Wawasee Varsity Warriors 4-0 Wednesday at Tiger Field. A triple by Grady Nelson put Warsaw Varsity Tigers on the board in the bottom of the first. Nelson was 2-3 at the plate and drove in 3 of the Tigers 4 runs. Logan Kim stole 2 of Warsaw's 4 bases. Brandt Martin earned the win for Warsaw. The starting pitcher allowed no runs and no hits over two innings, striking out two and walking none. Brock Bowser pitched four innings in relief, giving up a hit and zero runs while striking out 5 and walking none. The JV beat Wawasee 12-1 in 5 innings. Both box scores are attached. Next up for Warsaw Varsity Tigers is a game at Goshen Friday.
