Warsaw's softball team fell behind early to Plymouth Monday night, and their late rally came up short in a 7-5 loss at the Tiger Athletic Complex. The Lady Pilgrims 3 runs in each of their first two at bats, then scored a single run in the 3rd inning to lead 7-1. Warsaw would challenge late, scoring a run in the 4th, 2 in the 5th and 1 in the 7th, but they were unable to push across the tying run. The first 8 batters in the Warsaw lineup had a hit, and Bayleigh Sleeth collected 2 hits. The duo of Kaitlyn O'Dell and Addison Eastwood combined to allowed 5 earned runs and 10 hits in 7 innings. The junior varsity team played Mishawaka Marian Monday and lost 22-6.
