Boys Track & Field Team Claims Regional Title

The Warsaw boys track & field team won the Goshen Regional Thursday. Warsaw posted a team score of 74. Penn was 2nd with 60.5, and Concord's 53 points was good enough for 3rd. For the Tigers, it's their first regional championship since 2016 and their 7th all-time. Top finishes for the Tigers included: Jackson Gackenheimer was 2nd in the 3200. Sam Allebach was 3rd in the 300m hurdles. The 4 x 800m relay team of Noah McPhail, Tyler Mimnaugh, Rick Orr, Clark Meridew came in 3rd. Jordan Randall won the high jump by half-a-foot with a leap of 7'1". Tucker Reed was 2nd in the pole vault. Kam Kauffman was 2nd and James Leiter was 3rd in the shot put. Leiter was 3rd, Kauffman 4th and Ben Booren 5th in the discuss.
