The spring sports season at WCHS put the cap on a tremendous school year for Tiger Athletics. The Lady Tiger tennis team won the conference, their sectional and their regional semifinal match. Addie Lind finished her career as Warsaw's #1 Singles player with an undefeated 40-0 record in the Northern Lakes Conference (including regular season and conference tournament matches). The boys golf team won the regular season and NLC tournament titles, then needed the fifth player's score to beat rival Plymouth to claim the sectional. They came up one stroke short in the regional of advancing to the state golf finals. The girls track and field team won the conference, the sectional and the regional championship. They sent a team of 15 athletes to the state meet in Indianapolis. The boys track & field team also won the NLC title, their sectional and their regional. Then went to Indy with 11 athletes and finished 5th as a team at the state finals. Jordan Randall won the state championship in the high jump after clearing 7'0". The Warsaw baseball team won their second straight conference championship, marking the first time in over 20 years that the program had won the conference in consecutive years. And the softball team finished a very successful season that finished with a sectional semifinal walk-off win and a trip to the sectional championship game. All six Warsaw spring sport coaches were named coach or co-coach of the year in the Northern Lakes Conference. Warsaw claimed both the boys and girls NLC All-Sports Trophies, which shows which school had the best overall school year in conference competition.
