Warsaw girls soccer opened Northern Lakes Conference play with a convincing 8-1 win over Plymouth Tuesday at the Tiger Soccer Complex. Haidyn Elliot got the scoring started in the 13th minute, and Natalie Hoeppner's goal less than a minute later was all the Lady Tigers would need. That goal was assisted by Maya Bodiker. Hoeppner would score again in the 31st minute, followed by Amy Escutia-Palacios in the 48’ assisted by Evie Pepper, and Amy found the back of the net again at 59’. Evie then scored three times from the 73rd minute to the 78th to blow the score open, with 2 of those tallies assisted by Gracie Boren. The junior varsity also won big, take a 5-1 result. Tigers move to 2-1 on the season and have a road match against Northwood on Thursday.
