The Tigers 50-12 win over the Plymouth Rockies on Saturday, improved their season record to 4-2 and 2-1 in Northern Lakes Conference (NLC) play. The game saw standout performances from multiple Tigers, with Brady Sauer leading the charge in a high-energy matchup. He had a 36-yard touchdown rush, Ryan Carnes snagged an interception, Sauer then connected with Zecharias Wright for a 5-yard touchdown pass. Nolan Himes exploded for a 66-yard touchdown run, followed by an impressive 51-yard rush TD that kept the Rockies’ defense on their heels. The Tigers’ defense continued to shine, with Walker Perry forcing a fumble and Hayden Farmer recovering. The second half saw no letup from the Tigers. Sauer struck again with a 61-yard touchdown run. Ethan Rivich added to the defensive highlights with an interception. Kendrick Stookey powered into the end zone with a 16-yard touchdown run, pushing the score to 42-16. Late in the game, Micah Kohler intercepted another Plymouth pass, and Clayton Dias capped off the scoring with a 57-yard touchdown run, sealing the 50-12 rout. Warsaw JV Jammers host Mishawaka next Saturday, October 4th. Kickoff is set for 10 am.
