Warsaw JV Football Falls to Mishawaka, 30-6 In a Northern Lakes Conference (NLC) matchup, the Warsaw JV Tigers faced off against Mishawaka on Saturday. The first half was a defensive battle, with both teams combining for just three possessions. Mishawaka led 8-0 at halftime. Warsaw’s offense found a spark in the second half when Brady Sauer broke free for a 74-yard touchdown run, putting the Tigers on the board. The running game was bolstered by strong contributions from Nate Trusty and Nolin Himes. On defense, Hayden Farmer and Walker Perry stood out with their relentless efforts to slow down Mishawaka’s attack. Despite the Tigers’ fight, Mishawaka pulled away, finishing the game with a 30-6 victory. Warsaw now holds a 4-3 overall record and a 2-2 mark in NLC play. The Tigers will look to bounce back next Saturday as they travel to Nappanee to take on the Northwood Panthers. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m.
